Despite their commonness, household foods and ingredients can be used to treat serious health conditions or combat injury. For example, mayonnaise is a miracle cream. There are so many different things you can use it for, such as a skin moisturizer, a treatment for skin abrasions, or a lubricant for removing a ring from a swelling finger. Regular consumption of cranberries can combat kidney problems, urinary tract infections, and even a bladder infection. Eating mangoes, papaya, and other orange fruits and vegetables which contain beta-carotene will increase your eyesight, fortify your cornea, and preserve your eyesight for the future.
These are just a few examples of common foods that do worlds of good, there are several thousand other foods which can be of just as much benefit to the human body.
