Good afternoon! Sorry to take so long getting back - my husband and I had our flu/pneumonia shots a few days ago - and just took the “umph” right out - the doctor had given him a little extra pneumonia shot due to other health problems. I didn’t feel that great myself but he was really ill. However, we have both recovered and I have to get back to work here!
I’m sure there are some readers who, although they may have a computer, don’t do much research (like my husband who plays games) I found this interesting article from Discovery Health - cranberries were first cultivated back in 1815 - and some of the cranberry beds are still existing - 93 years ago! There are five U.S. states that grow cranberries - 110,000 metric tons a year! In Canada, they are grown in B.C. and Ontario (we have the wild ones here in Manitoba) and CranberryCrandale purchase from the Ontario grower. I have no idea of the total produced.
The cranberries are mostly harvested by machine - and, of course, some are damaged by the machine and cannot be packaged - they are made into juice. All the cranberries have to be hand-picked for top quality control - any with any type of bruising cannot be used.
Years ago, the North Americans used cranberries to draw poison from arrow heads! Cranberry paste was made and used to preserve dried meats. At that time the name was “craneberry” - but after a time the “e” was dropped. I read in another website sometime ago that even then the cranberry was used to fight urinary tract infection - there is a long history to that little red berry!
Now - we don’t have to depend on finding the fresh berries for the year-round protection - CranberryCrandale capsules have 350ml of cranberry in each one - fresh - freeze-dried to save all the wonderful nutrients - only the water is removed!
Visit our website www.CranberryCrandale.com for further information and testimonials from folk who have used them - and still using them! If you have questions or concerns - please do not hesitate to call or email - all the contact information is on our website.
Thank you for coming today - have a wonderful day!
